MAT COFFEE

The food is good. Not huge portions and a reasonable price. The desserts are homemade, so I think that makes them very unique. I loved the carrot cake cupcake. I will definitely come back and try some more of the menu.

Great find in Ebisu area! I wanted to go to the popular cafes nearby, but because they were full I chose to come to MAT coffee and it didn’t disappoint me at all! I ordered Ice Maple Latte and it’s very tasty, they have only 1 size, which is so big!! Makes a coffee totally worth to buy. (580 yen) The coffee taste is rich and well balanced with the sweetness of maple syrup. The place reminds me of a bar/diner in the U.S. atmosphere is cool and hype. I enjoy my time here. Food looks great! Next time I want to come and try the hot dog and carrot cake. Also it seems a live band comes and play some rock l at some point of the day!

Visiting from Vancouver Canada and needed to find a spot to do some work, decided to come here for an afternoon beer and snack. I am very glad I did! Staff is very friendly and basic English to communicate with an English menu! I ordered a draft beer and their 5 piece chicken karage. Highly recommend the chicken, juicy and full of flavour. Perfect pair of beer and chicken, will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

My most favorite place to go near the office. The owner is very nice and remembered me! Highly recommend hamburg, hot dogs, spam onigiri and shakes! Always remember to order first before sitting. No reserve seats before order!

I can’t recommend this place enough. The coffee is good and generous, but the real star is the cheesecake. It was unexpectedly not just good, but really good. The owner was super friendly and very outgoing, which added to the charm of the place. Will definitely be back to try their sandwich options, as they looked great.

Great place to sit outside with the dog. Fortunately very polite smokers waited til we finished eating. Delicious taco rice and fish sandwich and the karaage which came with the green curry was some of the best we’ve had. Friendly service, large menu (also in English) & wonderful desserts.

So far I was here twice. First time I only got a carrot cake. It was not spicy and flavorful as you would expect from a carrot cake to be, but it was a delicious cake anyway. And it cost only 180 yen! Amazing price. The second time I was here for a cake set. A big slice of cheesecake cake and a huge cup of coffee for 980 yen. Everything was delicious. The cake was super creamy. Nice design of the cafe and very friendly service. Unfortunately, the promised wifi did not work.
